Vietnam Package Tour -13 days -Saigon - Hanoi

Discover real Vietnam in 13 days go from Saigon, Mekong Delata, Hoi An,Hue, Halong Bay, Hanoi. Getting close to local life and non touristy towns.

DAY 1 (10^th Jan 09): HO CHI MINH CITY – ARRIVAL (Dinner)

Meet at Tan Son Nhat international airport. Transfer to hotel. Free time. Dinner on floating restaurant on Sai Gon River. Night in Ho Chi Minh City

DAY 2 (11^st Jan 09): HO CHI MINH CITY – VINH LONG – CAN THO (Lunch)

7AM: Car to Vinh Long province.

11:00 Arrive at a at a small village - non touristy town in Vinh Long province. There we will have a boat trip around the island to see the daily activities of local people along the river such as collecting fruits, catching fish, making riceand then our motor boat brings you to the local house where you can have a walk through thier big fruit farm and enjoy several kinds of tropical fruits. Here you will have lunch with the host family. Relax.

13:45 Ride your bike ( about 2 hours) around the small village roads shaded by bamboo, banana, rambutan, pomelo, mangosteen trees.

-Pass the immense green rice fields with working farmers and admire the beautiful scenery.

-Visit some houses where you can meet local people and see their real life.

-Have an overview of the “Rice Making Procedure” in one Rice workshop. Get to know what is the "same same, but different" trees in the Mekong Delta. You will practise & try to guess the names of these trees just by your nose!

16:00 Take a local ferry to Can Tho, arrive about 6 pm. Night in Can Tho.

DAY 3 (12^nd Jan 09): CAN THO – HCMC (No meal)

06:00 Take a small boat (4 hours) to see Cai Rang floating market, the biggest in Mekong Delta. Then take a slow boat trip along the small beautiful canals to enjoy the landscape and fresh air, on the way stop to see a rice noodle factory.

13:00 Car back to Ho Chi Minh City. Night in HCMC.

DAY 4 (13^rd Jan 09): HCMC (Cu Chi tunnel- City tour) (No meal)

- 7AM: the car will come to your hotel and pick you up, then head to Cu Chi (1.5 hour drive)

- Take an overview of the Liberation Zone Village, a vivid historical rebuild.

- Watch brief video to understand how the VC lived and fought under the ground for such a long time.

- Head into the Tunnels, eyewitness many places and many real things. Try to get through more than 100 metre long tunnel. With small size of group, Innoviet customers will move quite freely inside the tunnel.

- Try food of the guerrillas in the war time.

-Lunch and car back to HCMC center. Visit War Remnants Museum. Then we will go to the Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office to look around and take some photos.. Visit Ben Thanh market for shopping.

- Back to the hotel, free time. Night in HCMC.

DAY 5 (14^th Jan 09): HCMC – DA NANG - HOI AN (No meal)

-AM: Flight to Danang, transfer to Hoi An.

-PM: Free time. Night in Hoi An.

DAY 6 (15^th Jan 09): HOI AN (No meal)

Option 1:

08.00: Depart for the ancient Cham ruins of My Son. Once there visit the Tra Kieu capital which was the former administrative center of the Champa Kingdom. Discover the majestic ancient ruins at My Son including the ancient towers, which were built in the fourth century.
Return to Hoi An, on the way visiting local people who breed silkworms and weave silk beside the Thu Bon river. The place is famous for its beautiful, high quality silk. Have lunch in a local restaurant, car back to Hoi An. Night in Hoi An.

Option 2:

The tranditional Cam nam & Hoi An’s Scenery Tour’. During this various tour, the guide will take you to the most beautiful places on Cam nam island and the rural area north of hoi An. Our guide will give you information about the culture, politics, traditions, daily life and other interesting information of Vietnam and Cam nam island.

On Cam nam island you can see small handicrafts, such as; steaming of rice, repairing of fishing nets, cooking of corn and more. We will take you to a local shipyard on An hoi where wooden fishing boats are still being made in the traditional way by local craftsmen. After this we will visit the picturesque long Tuyen pagoda. The only pagoda in Vietnam with a nine-floor ‘lotus tower on the roof.

This tour ends with a peaceful cycling- tour through the countryside of hoi An. We are cycling along the bright green rice fields, shrimp farms and fishponds. You will see water buffalo’s. endless prospects and colorful sceneries…

Include; guiding, usage of the bicycle for the whole day, all entrees, 01 bottle of water, coffee or tea and soft drink or beer.

Night in Hoi An.

DAY 7 (16^Th Jan 09): HOI AN (No meal)

Free time for shopping and relaxing. Night in Hoi An.

DAY 8 (17^th Jan 09): HOI AN – HUE (No meal)

Car to Hue, on the way stop to visit Cham museum, Marble Mountain, Lang Co Beach. Night in Hue.

DAY 9 (18^th Jan 09): HUE(No meal)

After breakfast, visit Hue citadel. Take a boat trip on the Perfume River visits Thien Mu Pagoda, Minh Mang, Khai Dinh tombs and Hon Chen temple. Back to the hotel, have a rest.

Evening: Enjoy Hue royal traditional music on Perfume river. Night in Hue.

DAY 10 (19^th Jan 09): HUE – HANOI (No meal)

6:30 pick up from hotel to go to Phu Bai airport, flight to Hanoi. Transfer to hotel. Have a rest.

Afternoon: xich lo trip around Hanoi city.

Night in Hanoi.

DAY 11 (20^th Jan 09): HANOI - HA LONG (Dinner)

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Halong.

11:30 Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier.
12:15 Transfer by tender to the Indochina Sails boat – enjoy Welcome Drink. Receive cruise briefing and check in to cabins and begin cruise.
13:00 Lunch - deluxe Vietnamese and International Set Menu.
Massage service is available beginning after lunch and
throughout the cruise. Please book in advance with Cruise Manager.
14.30 Arrive at Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Water and towels supplied. We will spend about one hour on the island.
15.30 Transfer back to the boat and sail for approximately 45 minutes to our second destination - the Bat Cave area.
16.30 Arrive at the Bat Cave area. There are two programs to choose from at this time. One option is a 40 minute kayaking program to the nearby Bat Cave and lagoon and surrounding waters. Kayaking is $10. per person unless already booked as part of your package. Water is supplied.
The second option is to visit the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. We will travel to the village on the tender and tour the village for approximately 20 minutes.
18:30 Arrive at Luon Bo area - anchor for overnight.
19:00 Dinner - deluxe Vietnamese & Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.
20:30 Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room at approximately 9:15, board games and playing cards are available, join squid fishing from the boat with our crew, massage services are available.
21:00 – 23:00 Happy Hour!

23.00 End of program for Day One. Night in HaLong

DAY 12 (21^St Jan 09): HA LONG – HANOI (Breakfast – Lunch)

6:30 Enjoy Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes).
6:45 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.
7:00 Arrive at the Surprise Cave.
8:00 Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up the 100 steps to the entrance of the cave and tour on foot for approximately 45 minutes.
9:00 Upon return to the boat take time to freshen up and please check-out of cabins. Please leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer to the pier). Depart for Bai Chay/Halong pier.
9:30 Enjoy Breakfast Set Menu or Buffet served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after breakfast.
10:00 Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room and enjoy the bay scenery as we approach the pier.
10:45 Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier.
11:00 Transfer by tender to the pier, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.

12pm Transfer back to Hanoi. Free time. Night in Hanoi.

DAY 13 (22^nd Jan 09): HANOI – DEPARTURE (No meal)

Free time. Transfer to Noi Bai airport. Flight back home. Say goodbye. Thank you for joining with us, hope to see you again.
