Itinerary
This morning you will be met at 08:00 by your guide for a full day tour travelling south from Saigon to My Tho, the gateway to Mekong Delta. Known as the “rice bowl” of Vietnam, the Delta is the most fertile region in the country, and the main producer of rice and tropical fruits. Upon arrival My Tho, take a boat trip get over Tien river to the other side (Ben Tre land) to enjoy sight-seeing of floating fish farms and market on islets. Stop at Phoenix islet to see how local people make coconut rice paper and souvenir handicrafts from coconut trunk and shell. Then go to Tân Thạch to visit a local coconut candy workshop; taste candy (local special product). Take biking tour (08kms) through Phu An Hoà coconut gardens, sightseeing local people’s daily activities along villages paths to Vuon Dau for lunch with local cuisine.
Take rowing-boat on narrow water palm creek to big boat. Boat back to Uniccorn Islet for visiting Mr. Ba Chi Orchard, Enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to traditional music.
02:00 PM The boat trip back to My Tho return to Saigon. End tour at about 4PM at our office.
