Cycling 5 days at Mekong delta will give you a general look into the lively land which is enriched by Nine Dragons river.
You’ll have many different experiences after visiting each location such as the vast pineapple fields in Long An, local floating markets which are the original symbol of Me Kong Delta spreading its body through Vinh Long province, the sunset with a herd of ducks swimming back to their house and a little boy on a buffalo’s back in the peaceful grass paddy leave you some unforgotten feelings, or a view from the top of Sam mount in the sunrise gives you a strong impression.

Itinerary
Day 1: Saigon - Tien Giang - Vinh Long
08:00: Start the trip by car to Tien Giang province.
09:30: Start cycling along certain paths to get insight pineapple plantation, man-made canals and rice fields where you will see farmers crop the land with their rice and pineapple. The cycling is mainly on off roads around 5km, which bring you authentic feeling and then we cycle in to the village under the shaded trees.
11:00: Travel by car to Vinh Long. Stop for lunch and relax at a lovely restaurant with lots of delicious traditional cuisines.
14:30: A private car will picks you up at the restaurant and take you back to the home stay family. You will also have to cycle for two hours to get to the home stay on a small island in Vinh Long. Here you will have time to get acquainted with the hosts and take part in a small cooking class. After eating dinner, you can relax on the hammocks.

Day 2: Vinh Long - Rach Gia
06:30: Take a boat trip to visit a local floating market to see how local people live and earn their livings on their boats. Come back to home stay family and enjoy your breakfast.
08:00: Cycling for 2.5 hours to find out more about local lives on the island and then go back to National Highway 1 where the car picks us up to Vi Thanh.
13:00: Stop for lunch and relax.
14:30: Cycle 20km from Vi Thanh to Rach gia. Check in hotel. Sleep well!

Day 3: Rach Gia - Chau Doc
07:00: Car brings you to Kien Luong, cycle for 1.5 hours to Father and Son rock. Stop at the beach to relax and have lunch.
14:00: Car will pick us up for the trip to Chau Doc, cycling for 30 km. Then, car takes us to Chau Doc where we have a short trekking to Sam Mountain, a holy land of Vietnamese with spectacular view of sunset. Have dinner, free walking around Chau Doc. Sleep in the hotel.

Day 4: Chau Doc - Long Xuyen - Sa Dec
08:00: Take a boar trip to see the Floating fish farm and then car brings us to Long Xuyen, stop for cycling along the river.
13:00: Have lunch in Long Xuyen.
14:30: Cycle for two hours through the mat making village and the boat making village.
17:30: Travel by car to Sadec. Check in to a hotel. Eat dinner and rest.
Cycling distance: 50 km.
Day 5: Sadec - Long An - Sai Gon
07:00: Cycling through the biggest nursery village of Mekong Delta and through mango islands to village and then a car will bring us to My Tho.
13:00: Stop for lunch, relax.
14:00: Car will pick us up at the restaurant and take us to Cho Gao. There we continue our cycling trip about 2 hours to Tan An town. Going throw extensive and strange-looking Dragon fruit farms will be a memorable experience. Car brings us to Long An, cycle about 2 hours to Tan An. Then we will be picked up by car and come back to Saigon by 6:30 pm. Cycle to Long An (about 2 hours).
17:00: Take a car back to the Innoviet Office at 158 Bui Vien st or your hotel.
18:30: End of the trip.
